LOL I'm actually not a fan of sweet. Sour, salty, bitter... oh yeah. XD Though a good pumpkin pie with much cinnamon and ginger and NO whipped cream I also love.

Yams are a totally different species. Many varieties of sweet potato ARE sweet (like the purple ones). And actually, sweet potatoes were the first plant called potato. What is now the common potato is actually a late comer to the name. And sweet potatoes also come in dry white varieties that make fluffy mashed potatoes to shame the best common potatoes. And this old loser can eat those without poisoning herself.

i know this because the code broke on Sapherna the other day. so whenever you typed anything all the messages got turned into20%things20%that20%looked20%like20%this. it was hilarious as everyone panicked and we all started typing.like.this or other unique ways to get past it like underscores.

zoned out at "they're different" cause i was always told they were the same thing different names. they're even labeled the same at stores. and than the rest was like "what? i don't get it"

it may be on account of i need food and am just getting my first meal of the day at 4:30 pm....

Actually, me too, unless I know already it'll make me sick. That's why I'm such a fan of raw fish.

I tried the sleeping. Now I'm even crazier.

I've studied horticulture and plant taxonomy (fancy way of saying, I geek about plants). The sweet potato and the yam are really truly different aminals (spelling mistake on purpose).

I took a nap after my husband's eye exam, and slept like all day.
