talking about games you used to play in elementary school... the ones we used to play at ours were Cops and Robbers, Red Rover, Tag, and Red A Whip >.> .... i was lucky to be short for Red A... cause the boys did not pull any punches towards me and would aim for my head like they would for any of the other guys... though some of them eventually wizened up and aimed for my ass =_= .... still wasn't pleasant but at least it wasn't my head.

I don't remember playing those.

But then again, I usually stayed away from huge groups of people xD

i remember Red Rover, Tag... and i don't know if this is the actual name, but we called it 'Statues'

would statues be like... red light green light?

if it is the game i am thinking of ---
you'd dance around and somebody would shout freeze and you'd have to hold your pose, then they'd go around and pick somebody to be it the next round? something liek that?

that sounds mostly like it, Glitch....

all i remember was that we were moving - we played a lot of these games in gym - maybe dancing or something - and then maybe the word 'freeze' or when the music stopped, you had to freeze and become a statue. if you moved, you were out.

i'm also attempting to remember over 30 years ago... O_O

My favorite gane was heads up 7 up

i played a lot of card games when i was at summer camp when i was a kid. it's fun when my kids would ask if i knew how to play Spit or Bull. XD

well technically, we call it Stitch -n- Bitch, and we meet at starbucks for knitting and crocheting, and coffee, tea or whatever... and just generally a girls' night out to (as i call it) play with yarn. (i'm a cat in disguise?)
