My teeth are pretty bad too... I really don't like going to the dentist, because of the sounds...

Yeah, I was choking a bit when they pulled my wisdom teeth. So inconsiderate, lol.

naw, I'm talking about the drills... High pitched sounds really trigger my anxiety.

Yeah, those do not sound good at all. I hate those sounds too.

Bad thing is I know I desperately need to get in... but it's so anxiety-inducing that I just nope away from the idea.

Anyone you can ask to make the appointment?
That way you don't have to think about it until a few days before and it will already have been made.

No, because my housemates will go "Why can't you just do it yourself?".

I also need to go in for my teeth. I know I have at least 5 cavities. I haven't been to the dentist in 6 years.

I have at least six teeth that need to be looked at, if not pulled...

Yeah I'll probably need 2-3 teeth pulled. One of the fillings broke while I was chewing gum and driving 2 summers ago and I didn't have the money at the time to go in and get it fixed. I didn't have dental insurance. One of my teeth keeps getting infected. All I can do is utilize home remedies. I make a small amount of paste using a fresh garlic clove and a little bit of salt, mix it with a few drops of water, and apply it directly to the area. I let it sit for about five minutes. Then I go about my tooth care routine. I have more recently gotten into floss picks. They're way easier to use and more convenient to floss with them than the string.

I had one filling come out when I was eating taffy a few years back... I had one that got pulled and the filling it had had was sinking inward, and it got infected... tooth next to it may need a root canal... I have half a tooth that got eaten away as a cavity got worse and worse, and the one on the lower jaw it touches is doing the sinking filling thing....the tooth that had the filling get pulled out is pretty much just a shell of a tooth now... the one next to it has a hole in the side...

my mouth's just a hot mess.

Yikes... Yeah you'll probably need both of those pulled. Root canals are expensive so I'd rather just get the tooth pulled if it's in the back. The life expectancy of a root canal is only a few years. I'll probably need dentures when I turn 40, but they'd look better than my naturally crooked teeth anyway.

Back teeth are easier to hide that they are missing if they are in the back.

Yes they are lol
