Working on updating my PADherder for the first time in a very long time because I'm losing track of what evo materials I need... and I plugged in some of my teams...

Good grief, Aizen really is OP.

And Machine Athena just isn't as good as she looks on the surface.

The following numbers are all going to be on the low side because PADHerder and PADSpike don't support assists or +All Stats latents, but it's a reasonable comparison. (PADSpike doesn't support Multi Boost either but I was able to fake it, so that's taken into account below.)

According to PADSpike, my Aizen OE team with Illusion's Aizen deals ~7M damage with a single cross plus one combo. It's somewhere in the rough vicinity of ~11M if both Aizens are element-switched to dark.

If I take the same Aizen OE team into multiplayer with Ginny's Female Hunter Narga X Gear, a single cross plus one combo does ~8M. If Aizen element-switches to dark it's ~10.4M. (Goes to show just how significant of a downside Aizen's water typing is.)

Going double Female Hunter Narga X Gear, a single cross plus one combo does ~10.4M if I pop lu bu's active skill, or ~7M if I don't (or if I use Chaos Dragon Knight Voice instead of lu bu). Clearly this means I should stick with Aizen, but this is still a meaningful point of comparison, since it means these numbers are achievable without Aizen's OP-ness.

Machine Athena... At least with the team I'm running, a single TPA plus one combo only does ~2.2M damage. Making that two TPAs instead of a TPA plus one combo is ~4.4M damage -- meaning I'm using three orbs more than the other teams to do half the damage.

Now I'm annoyed that I put the effort into Machine Athena. This sucks. :/

My friend Billy put a ton of effort into making a leader Machine Athena, granted he had 3 rag dragons to put into that team.

Right now I'm really interested in the new Fenrir UVO's, I doubt jammer meta will ever take off but it's interesting.

Stop trying to make jammer meta happen. It's not going to happen.

Fenrir Viz Uvo has some amazing stats and killers though, with a low skill cool down great for inherits. Good sub potential there.

In unrelated news... I tried building a Rathalos X Gear team. It theoretically OUGHT to work but it just doesn't feel like there's enough synergy between the MH collab monsters to actually do anything useful with.
