I've only encountered one person that did, and that was the owner of a high end tea store in a not-quite-as-high-end-as-I'm-sure-it-wanted-to-be mall.

-snort- Screw those people, I just want to enjoy my herb/fruit-flavored water even if my stomach can't handle the caffeine.

All I have from Teavana is a white ayurvedic chai. i haven't been into a store since as they were never too common where I life. I actually joined their website but haven't actually ordered anything.

I somehow managed to get my hands on three bags of TWG black and decaf black teas, and let me tell you, that was some of the best tea I've ever had.

TWG? I know them not.

Was in David's today but I've had to admit that the store is just too pricey for me these days. There was a guy in there asking specifically for Oolong tea from Taiwan. I'm not too familiar with Oolong outside of the Jumpy Monkey blend which has enough other stuff in it that I'm pretty sure I could tell where in the mix it was.

It's something I'd like to try more of in the future but it seems a little more on the pricey end.

My mistake: Jumpy Monkey is a green/yerba mate blend. I thought it was black/oolong.

Gingerbread tea has become one of my favorites. I forgot how good it was. ;n;

Haven't tried it but I've seen it around.

I had a pumpkin pie thing that was okay (not pumpkin spice!) though it tasted just a hint like soap.

I just got a notice that the Teavana website is going down as well. So much for that idea, but apparently there's a big sale now.

I have a cup of Assam Banaspaty this time.

Look them up; the tea's really good but ridiculously expensive. I think it's...$25 for like...fifteen tea bags. I don't have that sort of money, so I guess I'll have to stick to my freebies.

Wow. I just looked them up. They have a store over in Van near by the art gallery. Fancy menu. Might have to go there with my sister-in-law next time we feel like scoping out an afternoon or high tea somewhere.

Apparently, I require at least three cups of black tea in a day if I don't want to turn savage by the evening.

I feel cheap. The most I have ever spent on tea was like 12 bucks on a 3 oz packet of jasmine tea and I didn't even like it.

It's tricky with tea sometimes, and the smell can be deceiving. I will spend the $$ on occasion to go and have a fancy tea though, but I don't make a habit of it, especially not at that price.

There's a little British "Shoppe" here that does a sort of basic little high tea, but it's only $13 and it's enough of a meal for me.
