"I've...been...betwayed!" he gasps, collapsing to the ground in mock death.

*pulls out another bag of sprinkles and hands to Derpy*

Oh my gosh, Derpy - I'm sorry! Do you want an ice bag?
We're ready to start now, I found the eggs too. And almond flour, so we can also whip up some macarons along with the regular cookies.

*waits patiently*

Derpy sits up, giggling. He get up and takes the new bag of sprinkles from MafiaBear. "Thank you!"

He pokes at his snout a few times, then waddles over and hugs DbM's leg. "I'm okay! Let's make macawons first!"

I wonder where I would have to look to find almond flour. Gluten-free section perhaps?

Yeah, gluten free section is the most likely place to find it I would think.

My store likes to cover their bases and stock in both the baking and gluten free sections.

The last grocery store I worked at didn't actually have a gluten free section. But they did have small bags of almond flour in a sort of "specialty" brand section.

The last time I actually bought almond flour (initially with the intent to make macarons, though I never actually got to making them), it was at the kind of health foods store and they had it available in bins where you could buy as much or as little as you wanted.

Chocolate dipped macaroons, please! ;D

Here at my place they have a special store for this sort of stuff. It only sells biological and otherwise healthy ingredients. Normal supermarkets carry wheat flour, rye flour and I think spelt flour. They do have gluten free sections, but that's all processed/finished stuff.

Oh, a food scale. I'm supposed to use one to measure my portions for my diabetic meal plan. I have actually gotten quite good at measuring by eye, though.
