currently cleric is tending to the party before we go face the dragon, because he is big softie gabe and has to make sure everyone is as good as they can possibly be before we risk our lives

tell you what - when i played DnD was when the Cthulhu Mythos was in the Deities and Demigods book....

the warlock still has some of that flavor, i think. or at least, one of our games has one whose patron is a great old one.

i didn't pick an alignment for my character, but i don't know if that's why i stopped playing, or the group just fell apart. i mean, she's probably good, but probably neutral... i'd need to look up the defintions again...

the alignments really don't matter for more than roleplay in 5e, nothing is actually affected by alignment aside from the occasional weird weapon.
