you're generally not going to get in trouble for swapping gifs. it's a bit of a blurry line where it's contributing and where it's spam, but what y'all have been doing here is fine.

if someone went around only posting single images to threads and the images weren't even related, then yeah, they're just spamming and they gotta cut it out.
