You don't have to RP. C: We do chat here regularly, too, there are few people who RP, but you don't have to answer to them as a RP. See, I made a RP-sort-like post, too, and now am chatting with you normally. x3

I do enjoy RP in certain settings, but arbitrary RP without a set character and so on defined I don't enjoy whatsoever. I don't feel there's enough care and effort put into it when you don't have some form of setting or constraint.

Your character is you. You can shape a certain personality and lead by it, if you want to. I have a 'me' character always with me, to certain extent, so it doesn't really give any problems to me. And setting is well.. war. Right now, we're in neutral zone, but each camp can create their own rps, I guess, where the same side people interact.

Is this the neutral zone? The forum says "the war", although my own personal palace of victory may well be Switzerland or something.

Well, another thing that gets me is that especially in a setting where the RP is almost exclusively fighting, people really don't wanna lose the fights, so they can get a little bit silly sometimes.

Haha, I'm still almost the only topic here! I wonder what we're supposed to do...

I guess this thread is neutral, since we haven't slashed each other's throats open and I even saw some of the captains just talking, not fighting...

And most of the RPing we have done is more like verbal duels and discussing the ethics of one or the other side, just as well raising the comrade spirit. XD No real fighting has happened in the forums between two actual members.
