Well I haven't scanned anything I've drawn today but I did do some sketching on my Facebook so I can show you those. xD

They're characters for a new webcomic I'm starting soon. C:

Demon - Ohh I understand that. Today was the first day I ate something other than hot dogs. -A-; Although I haven't had baloney in a long time..

Taiki - I love those!! omg, I love that style to death, I wish I could do something like that but I'm not able to emulate it properly it really looks off. It reminds me a lot of some art I've gotten...have you ever done vector art like that on gaia? o3o

Rem - yea.. Give me pizza rolls or or spaghetti or Gulosh or something ><

@ Rem, Well normally I draw in a very anime-ish style and was never able to pull of cartoonie. I took a comicing class and there was an assignment to draw a 7 page comic, each page in a different style. The teacher gave us the styles and a couple of them were cartoon ones and after I was able to let go of my strict features for really exaggerated things I was able to draw it. It took a while of practicing and I developed a style that was a lot more cartoonie than my normal one but still had some of the features of my normal style. I tried drawing these characters in that style but it just didn't fit. I spent the past few days trying all sorts of things and yesterday I got that and I love it soooo much! 8D

I used to do commissions on Gaia but some of the items just got too complicated and I don't have time anymore. This style is really easy to draw so maybe I'd be able to do commissions in it. |D

Oh, me too, cartooning is so hard, I don't know how some people can do it. I don't know why but it just didn't come naturally to me xD drawing things exaggeratedly or what's the word...minimally? I can't think of it..but yea, those look really great! I wanna know when you start doing the comic I'd love to read it.

And you could sell those well I bet x3 I always like unique styles

Extensions or those like, hairband ponytails are the only things I can think of

yea real hair, i cut my hair too short

you could always come up with a hat style :x like if my hair gets in my way I push them back and stuff them under my Kyo hat xD

@ Rem, I have a really hard time doing things in a minimal way but I've been practicing a lot because I really do enjoy drawing like that. I always assumed that drawing in a cartoon style was easier than anime, but it's not. You still have to know proportions and the such. It's just different. O: I have set up a page for it on smackjeeves. I'm scanning the image for the header right now and I'm gunna CG it. I dunno when I'm gunna have strips up though. O:

I guess we will see when the site opens. xD If I have extra time I may sell some. Or maybe just do sketches like those ones. Those only took like 10-15 minutes. C:

@ Silvermyth, I have no idea. D: Sorry. I used to always have short hair so I never had that problem. xD

In that case, the only thing to do is wait for it to grow back out, but if your hair is naturally curly, straightening it might give the illusion that it's longer than it is. However, I'm of the opinion that there's no such thing as too short, so try to make the most of it while it's shorter than you intended!
