"So are there more?" Mail asked.

"I already stated that Mello was a bully," Near commented, zipping the jacket up and glaring at the redhead.

"I thought so...they never really made that relationship clear in the story or anything." Mail said. "It's not so surprising...but that seems like it might take some balls. Aren't you like...hot shit back home?"

"Hot... shit...?" Near asked, trying to figure out the redhead's meaning. It only took him a moment. "I am unliked. The only people I consider 'friends' are Linda and Matt. The rest of the students believe I am treated special... Mello included."

"But how many of them bully you?" Mail asked. "And the ones that do...how many of them get bullied by Mello?"

"I don't know exact numbers," Near informed, rather calmly considering the situation. "I rarely leave my room."

"Aww, well...I'll take you around Hollywood." Mail chuckled. "Show you some sites, throw some ice cream down you or something."

"I'm allergic to dairy," Near reminded, frowning even more. "And the sun."

"...So...sushi and a baseball cape?" Mail offered.

There was a small pause as the younger boy eyed Mail. "...I do love sushi."

"I knew one of you did." Mail laughed before slipping his hand over Near's and leading him to the door. "Pull up the hood and you can wear my sunglasses for now.

He pulled off his sunglasses to reveal a set of gorgeous emerald-green eyes.

Near blinked in surprise at the other, his eyes going wide. "Wow..."

Mail held the sunglasses right under Near's nose.

"What was that?" He smirked.

"...I'm surprised that the sun is up already," Near quickly covered. "I must have been hiding in there longer then I thought."

Mail laughed and slipped the sunglasses on the boy before pulling him towards the door again.

"Can you drive yet?" Mail asked. "You wanna drive my Charger?"

"I'm thirteen," Near reminded as he was pulled along, wincing as the door was opened and the rising sunlight hit his sensitive skin. "What on Earth is a charger?"
