Stephen grinned and nodded .
then turned to Adel "Would you permit a old man to escort you inside."

Adel smiled kindly, "If you wish to do so you may."

Stephen held his arm out for her to take.

Adel gave a mental ^sigh,^ and took Stephens arm and they went inside.

Michale was glaring at the old man's back. "Who does he think he is?" He muttered.
Michael chuckled, shaking his head as they went inside the tavern.

Samuel also heard Gabriel mutter and chuckled quietly as he followed.

As they all sat at the table Michale fell silent, his eyes glancing now and then at the large fireplace. His brother sat next to him, nudging his shoulder and gave him a worried smile. "You're hungry, right? You want to order something?
Distractedly Michale nodded, still glancing at the fire.
Michael then looked to Adel Samuel and the old man. "What would you guys like to order?"

"I'll be having the lamb stew and some hot cider to go with the stew."Adel said.

Samuel thought for a moment I'll have roasted chicken with sweet potatoes and some ale to go with everything.

I think lamb, and, potatoes will be good, and ale for me, also to wash it all down.
Oh and miss bring a jug of your best rum.

Michale took a large gulp of his ale and wiped his mouth on his sleeve. Michael elbowed him lightly. "Manners." He insisted, drinking his own ale in smaller slips.
Michale shrugged and looked at Samuel. "You don't like your drink?" He said, noting how he hadn't touched it.

Samuel laughed "No I just not much of a drinker."
"I like to keep a clear head,like Adel is doing."Samuel looks at Adel.

Adel just shrugs and looks out into the crowd watching some people getting up to dance.

Stephen frowned as he realized his plan was not going to work as easily as he thought I'm going to have to think of another way to execute my plan.
Then Stephan saw an old friend at the bar then grinned.
I'm going to go to the restroom for a moment and excused his self from the table.

Samuel watched him walk away with suspicion but shrugged it away for the moment.

Michael saw the wisdom of Samuel's words and did not drink much but Michale was having a good time and drank all of his ale along with inhaling his food. He grinned as he looked up at those who were dancing. He reached out and took Adel's hand. "Want to dance?" He said, standing and pulling her up with him.

Adel,gasped when Michale pulled her up to dance.
Adel pulled away for a moment,and gave Michale a patient look.
"It is common curtsy to wait for your partner to answer.
Then she smiled softly my answer is yes I will dance with you."

Samuel laughed as Adel pulled Michale to the dance floor.
He stared as they danced and for a second he thought he saw Gloria.
Samuel shook his head to get the image out of it.
*Why?* was the question going through his head and look back at Adel and Michale.

Michale laughed and danced with her- if you could call it dancing. For he swung around and sang and even leaped over a few benches all the while holding her hands.
"You are a GOOD dancer!" He hiccuped as the music began to pick up the pace.

Michael chuckled as he shook his head. He knew his brother had it bad. He only hoped she would let him down gently-
Unless she had fallen for him!
The thought caused Michael to pause. If that were the case he would have to talk her out of it. After all, Michale could have no future with any woman considering what he was.
