We were discussing complimenting and if "not complimenting" is bad.
I just explained why I might not do it as often as others. And it's not because I am "bitter person", but because have my own tastes and looks at things.
I don't go pointing things in other avvies that I don't like, unless subject like this pops up, because if they like it, then it's none of my business. If they complain they don't like their avvie, I will tell what I like and what I don't like.

Immamoonkin@ That's the most ridiculous thing I've heard someone say on a avatar site in a while. Yes it's their choice how to dress but half the fun is actually dressing to other people's liking. The rest is your fun. I haven't been on one avatar site where people don't wanna get theirs rated once in a while.

If people are asking for advice, that's one thing, but I don't think people should be proud that they complain a lot or whatever. Nor do I think it's really nice to even bring that stuff up. It'll cause problems, imo.

I dunno. That's just me.

@Yuki: Funny, I thought the point of avatar sites was to create an avatar based on your personal tastes, not to please the population.

I don't get my avatars rated.

I like my avatars, other people rarely ever like them, so what's the point?

And I never point out what's wrong unless they ask. I just don't compliment stuff I don't like. Obviously. Nobody ever talked about commenting bad things.

Well, there I agree with, Immamoonkin, Senyuki.
I come and dress my avvie for my own enjoyment and while it's nice that others, even single person, like it, I won't mourn if I don't get any compliments on it. I never go in rating threads, 'cause I know mine are of not popular styles, and so, no reason to be "daww D:".

I can't relate very well as people usually love my avatars. :S Well on most sites.
