Hello every one!

I know a lot of people on this site do art (you can't deny it- I know who you are! XD) I guess I kinda wanted to create this thread where people can talk about the various ways they create art. Not all of us are actually digital artist on this site. I myself prefer the long drawn-out process of inking an image and then maybe watercoloring it. This thread's purpose is for us all to come together and share tips and techniques to help each other grow.

Rules!

1. Well I’m sure that the super-mod of this section will come up with rules later…
In my thread we follow the TOS. It’s really that simple. We also follow the golden rule: “Treat others how you would want to be treated.”

2. There’s a difference between flaming and a critique. Only crit those that ask for help.

3. Learn, share, laugh, and love people.

Techniques and helpful links for learning:

Eehee! Sounds awesome indeed!

And hmm... tutorials are always good, both image and video. Or depending what the others might need, having actual example artists would be good as well.

Hmm I wonder if others are visual learners because I have a plethora of speed paints. I guess I need to ask a mod actually about posting links. I'm not sure if linking to DA or anything outside of imagery is considered advertising. If they need to be in spoilers or what.

So this is random but you know Brittany Brown, we share a studio space and I kinda want to do art liker hers.
She uses this really awesome ink. It reminds me of this guy I love on DA.

Is it acrylic ink? And she's gotten way better as well. I'm heartbroken I didn't remain. TT^TT
I would've put up with Economos for another year if necessary... gaaah!

Dude once you became junior life was so easy and now Jose is changing the department so its even easier.
Every one is pretty much amazing so yeah you should have stayed. Lucy you and I could have put the tri-force on our door. Three L's

and its a mixture xD I've spied her desk when she works. She uses this water color concentrate

My preference is probably Digital Art, though I often sketch with a pencil. I still use my crayons and colored pencils though... and there is always an air about Traditional Art that I will always respect.

...This also made me want to sketch.

Oh my gosh! That would be a wonderful idea, I love those kinds of threads. If only my computer was fixed, I'd draw like no tomorrow!

If it's okay, I'd like to help with the set-up though, if you might need it. I'm a neat thread maker (see freebie thread on sig) and I'm pretty good at summarizing conditions and things. (And you can see my art there! =D)

I am however, unable to participate until my computer is fixed, but I still want to help. XD
