Default Fire! #1
Ok.. So, I leave the computer to go get a sprite and tell mom happy mothers day yea? well.. I open my door and something smells like its burning! D8

I call out to my mom "What's Burning?" and she says "nothing, Or I hope it ain't burning" *yes we use the word AIN'T* I go out to the kitchen and tell her to check on it..

She opens the microwave door and SMOKE poors out. I'm all, OxO faced and told her it burned.. The box was burned.. even My paper towel to keep my hot pockets from sticking to the plate was burned..

I read the instructions on the box and asked her how many minutes did she put the Chicken Pot Pie in for.. and she tells me 18.. I looked at her and said.. 7 Minutes mom.. 7! D<

She grabs a fork and messes with her Chicken thing and goes "its all burned!"
I had to go "you don't have to SEE it you can SMELL that it's burned!"

and I showed her my poor paper towel.. it had a burn ring on it ;-;

So.. I guess my question is.. Have you ever set fire to something? Burned food in some mystical way? or just saved your home from a mother who fails at electrical stuff? tell me =w= I wanna know if someone shares my pain xD

You make your mother sound stupid on mother's day! xD

But that sounds like something my friend could do.

The worst thing I did was turn on the oven to make some chicken tenders and next thing I know there's smoke everywhere and I run out there and turn off the oven and open it to see that my grandma had put a plastic dish strainer in there. @o@ It literally caught on fire.

*retch*

My friend in college once put an aluminum foil-wrapped thing in the microwave. I say "thing" because what came out can't be defined by words.

He was fortunate to survive that fiasco.
