Well, while I was at school yesterday person from our internet provider came and did something with internet. Every device with internet that I've tried connects perfectly, with one exception. My laptop refuses to connect (i'm currently using this horrid computer). I enter the password and am told "Wireless authentification failed because of a timeout." So I go ahead and do any updates I've neglected and reboot laptop. Still get that message. Look at more details of the problem and apparently the "multikeys" aren't being recieved (and/or sent maybe?). Everything else in the little report says that they worked perfectly. Which is why I'm asking you what multikeys are, how do I make then be received by my laptop, and why do they cause a timeout?

Oh, one more question. Why does everything work except my laptop T_T

I did google these things.. all I found were things I didn't understand about wpa and wep and other letters that I don't understand

Does your school have password protection? My ipod did that a bit at my school.

My school don't allowed anyone to bring their laptops to school for security reasons

why not try the school admin about it :)
