I rather enjoy Betas. ^^ He's got a 2 and half to three gallon tank to swim around. He's got a plastic dinosaur AND glow in the dark grass that he's made a bubble nest on top of.

looked it up. I suddenly REALLY want a beta fish. XD

I love betas. There are also like goldfish in that they can produce their own oxygen and therefore can live in a cup of water. Pet stores often sell them either in tiny bowls or plastic cups. Just don't *ever* put two in the same tank if you want their fins to stay intact. Their other name is Siamese Fighting Fish, or so I've always heard. Put a mirror up to the side of the tank and they puff and spread their fins out to intimidate the 'intruder.'

yep, just read that. And the betta and fighting fish are the same fish.

Yeah. It surprised me because I didn't know that the males made them. XD

My mom had two beta and my dad, when he was younger, stuck them in one tank together to see if they really did fight. Sbout 30 seconds later the pretty blue one was near finless. He lied and said one jumped into the other tank, which apparently they can do. My cousin tried to breed them once, but the female decided she didn't like the male and almost tore him appart. My cousin didn't like the female anymore and tossed her in with his piranha. I'm pretty sure the male lived. Oh, and from personal experience, they will bite the tail fins off guppies if they are in the same tank.

XD I'd keep it in it's own little tank thing... except I wouldn't know where. Cause when the moor I have passes I plan to get another one. I love moor fish. I WANT A PANDA MOOR >_>

Fish are cool.

I used to have some at different time.

I want to get a tattoo of a black moor fish on my foot... I dunno when, though.
And I still want a kanji so... ugh x.x' yeah I dunno. But I do want a small tattoo of a a black moor fish. Nothing big.

I also discovered with mine, if I put my finger on the tank in front of him, he tries to suck at my finger <3

Really? o.o I know that Fire Bellied Toads will bark when you feed them/when they get to know you better.

I don't think he's ever growled at me... XD Though he will chase his reflection around the tank. lol

I have a parrot fish, I've had him for about a year. He's really picky, ate flakes for a few months then decided he was too good for flakes, so now I have to feed him frozen blood worm every other day.

He spends most of his time hiding under his little bridge, he's a bit of a misanthrope. I'm fond of him, though. He's fat and looks like he's smiling all the time.

I had a beta fish when I was a kid, but he died when we went on vacation. I think the neighbors neglected him. :C

OMG those are some pretty fish! @_@
I won't take care of anything that's too much maintenance. Hell, if I have to, for sure, feed them every day it's too much, cause I often forget to feed my fish. XD
