I don't like soap operas because they just seem melodramatic.

Soap operas bore me. I don't mind movie dramas but T.V. show drama just goes on and on with no end to the drama. At least movies stop within two hours most of the time.

Soap operas seem to annoy me for some reason - the background music they have, the dialogue, and everything.

I agree. The filming is also awkward to me.
