"Doesn't it?" Calvin smiled wrapping her arm in his as he headed out.

He groaned as he walked into his house, he leaned on the door after he shut it. "Who feels like crap? I do.." He pushed himself off of the door and headed to his room.

Brianna had never been more glad that her parents had had to take an overnight business trip before in her life. She sort of shuffled through her house until she found some advil and a glass of water. After downing them she went upstairs to her bedroom. Once inside she let herself collapse on her bed.

Now was the time to panic. Her mind spun in circles of panic and after effects of the alcohol. She tried in vein to remember the night before but nothing came. Who had kissed who first? Why was his tie left on? What had they said, if anything, to each other? She felt like puking. And so she ran to her bathroom and did so. This was going to be a long day.

Calvin got into the shower, he felt dirty but not at the same time he didn't. He let the warm water run down his back as he leaned his head on the cooling tile. How did it go that far? How long did it take? Who instigated it? Were all questions that were running through his mind. His head was pounding a lot and he couldn't remember the night. How could someone forget a whole night? He asked himself.

After puking until her stomach felt incredibly empty Brianna decided to shower. Surely that would make her feel better. As she stood there letting the warm water cascade over her she had a thought. A terrible, panic inducing thought. Had they used protection? She highly doubted it. After all, it had most likely been spur of the moment passion. She felt her stomach drop.

Calvin got out of the shower and dried off, he did hear his phone ring while he was in the shower but really didn't care. He tied the towel around his waist and listened to the voice mail that was left. It was his dad, telling him that they were going to be gone for an extra week. He sighed and tossed the phone onto the bed, "Great..." His tone was covered in sarcasm. He went to his closet to get dressed.

A shower, however warm and pleasent it may be, could only last so long before it's soothing effects were replaced by pruning fingers and a loss of hot water. When these things had happened Brianna reluctantly got out and dressed into her favorite pair of pajamas.

She combed her fingers through her wet hair as she sat of the edge of her bed. She wanted this all to have been a dream and yet... There was a part of her, a darker more passionate side to her personality, that was secretly pleased at what had happened and only slightly put out that it could not be remembered. After all, Calvin was incredibly good looking an rich. For a first time she couldn't really have done better.

Pushing away such carnal and embarrassing thoughts Brianna dug herself under her blankets, snuggling in there warmth and went to sleep.

Calvin sighed as he watched TV in his boxers, he couldn't sleep. Everything that happened within the past twenty four hours ran through his mind. He had sex, not with just anyone his best friend! He looked at his phone to see if Brianna called or text, he frowned when he saw that she hadn't. But he wouldn't be surprised if she never wanted to speak or see him again. With a deep grown he threw himself face first into the couch. Why? He thought to himself with another groan.

She wasn't sure what time it was, not having been able to sleep for very long, but knowing that the rest had done her well even if it meant she would have a tough time falling asleep this night. She picked up her phone from were it lay on her bedside table and started at it for a long moment. She should talk to Calvin, she knew that, but what would she say?

Sighing, and with as much social grace as a cat that has been thrown into a pool she texted Calvin saying, 'Hey.'

Calvin moved his face from the pillow and looked at his vibrating phone and the glass coffee table. He didn't want to look but his curiosity got the best of him. He reached out to grab his phone, nearly falling off of the couch in the process. He smiled a bit when he saw that it was a text from Brianna, 'Hi... Are you ok?' He sent the message as he adjusted on the couch so he was looking up at the ceiling. His eyes widened when he heard something about teen pregnancy on the TV. He scrambled for the remote, he turned it to anything. He looked and saw that he turned on Spongebob Squarepants. He rolled his eyes and turned it to a music channel.

Brianna jumped a little when she felt her phone vibrate. Of course he would text back right away. Why had that surprised her? Reading the text, she sighed. Was she okay? No, not really. She scared of all the things she didn't remember, of all the things she might have done and of the fact that they most likely hadn't used protection. Instead of voicing all these fears to Calvin she wrote, 'I'm... better. U?'

Calvin bit his lip as his phone vibrated again, he was surprised she even texted him in the first place. 'To tell you the truth, I don't know.' He sighed as he sent the message. Now he was never one to abbreviate stuff, it just wasn't his thing. He covered his eyes with his arm as he waited for Brianna to text back.

Brianna stared at his text message for a long moment, trying in vain to remember the night before. That wasn't something you could just forget, right? There had to be a memory, if only a small one, buried in her mind of their night together. However, if it was there or not she couldn't find. 'This is... strange, to say the least.' She texted back.

Calvin shook his legs in anticipation while he waited for Brianna's text. He removed his arm and quickly read the text when his phone went off. 'This is more than strange Brianna.' He sent the message and bit his lip. 'Do you possibly want to meet up to talk about this? I know it might be awkward but...' He trailed off in the text and sent it. He really didn't know what else to say, it would be worse if they did meet up. He sighed again as he covered his eyes with his arm, in a way wishing he could take back last night.

Brianna hesitated, biting her lip before replying. 'Yeah, that's probably the wise thing to do.' She texted. When the message was sent she closed her phone and moved it about in her hand, it's smooth surface gliding over her palm and fingers.

Calvin's confession from earlier rang in her ears. Causing her even more distress. It wasn't like she thought Calvin lied to make her feel better about what had happened, but she knew he was a kind person and if he thought that being in a relationship with her would make things better... She wasn't even sure if he was over Jess. They had just broken up yesterday, after all, and despite his assurance that he did not plan on going back to her, Brianna knew feelings didn't disappear over night. Was he conflicted?

Calvin read the text, 'I'll be there to pick you up.' He sent the message and quickly went up to his room to get dressed. He really wanted to see Brianna, but at the same time he just wanted to run away and hide. He dug through all of his drawers to find something to wear. He wanted to dress nice but at the same time like it wasn't a big deal, when it was.

Reading Calvin's text, Brianna got up from her bed and put her phone on her dresser. She looked over the clothing in her closet, eyes looking for something nice, yet casual. She settled for a dark pair of blue jeans and her favorite band t-shirt. After pulling these on she combed her hair and put on some light make-up. Once she felt she looked decent for his company she went downstairs to wait in the living room.
