Those warriors who are strong enough, swift enough, and cunning enough win will also have a chance to battle the fool named "Hermes" and myself if you should so choose.

I may find it a waste of time if the fight is not thrilling enough. If so, I will simply be satisfied to destroy all you hold precious.

And if I do not find myself satiated, I may need to find an outlet for the bloodlust, to fill my nose with the aroma of piling corpses. I'm sure many of you have families.

I will find that sufficient.

I would love to see you try, Hermes, but I'm sure you'd fail.

The second pair of fools has been decided.

Make sure to provide me with some entertainment lest I decide to go ahead and lay both of you out for a week.

I wonder what it is about my presence that brings out the bloodthirsty beasts in people. It may be something worth refining.

Bloodthirst is no simple emotion, no, it is a state of being, a nature, a presence in the room. It is the way you walk, the way you swing a blade, the way you bash with a club, the way you knock an arrow, the way you an eye a woman, the manner with which you speak, the ferocity of your movements.

TRUE Bloodlust is a state of being, not a mere emotion to be evoked.

FYI to participants:

If we end up with an uneven number of participants, you can choose to fight either Asura or Hermes (but will only receive your portion of the prize if you win).

And will have much less of a chance of surviving to enjoy it. I will enjoy watching Asura gut you like a pig.

This is a glory proving fought under the eyes of the paragons of this realm to honor the memory of those who have fought in the war.
