I was always so proud of myself because my directors told me I had perfect pitch, since I'd hear a song and could figure out the notes by ear and play it back. >A>

I like how they sound though. In the lower notes at least. Especially when there's a bunch at once, because it gets kinda eerie. xD

Altos and Clarinets are pretty much together with everything. XD

ROFL I remember that we were so awkward with the reed stuff. I'd exaggerate. xDD
And on cold days, the clarinet section had an awkward way of keeping our reeds ready and warming our hands at the same time..
Our band director saw it and was like "Wh-... Stop that. D8" xDDDDD

xD It's so hard to do both at once though. Since you also have to breathe through the instrument to keep it warm and the keys non-frozen. I think me and a friend or two started it, but we didn't even think about how bad it looked until afterward; we stuck the bells between our legs, stuck our hands in our shirts and blew through the mouthpiece, so it looked REALLY BAD, and by the time our director looked over, the whole section was doing it and he was like "+eyeroll+" and told us to stop it. xDDD
This being in public since it was a contest we were warming up in the parking lot for. Roflolol.

LOL. I did that last year at competitions AND at football games.

ah, well we were reading music, our director said 'you need to read and watch me' then the clarinet next to me said 'you made a woodwind joke Mrs. Thompson Reed, Read' most of the woodwinds started laughing

+was also the only drum major in the school's history to dye his hair a different color like every week+ xDDD
It was bad when it rained because I had a mostly white uniform ( everyone else's was black and blue )..
And blue hair...
Had to use a friend's neckstrap to keep extra dye that hadn't washed out from running onto it as we bolted to the bus. Rofl.
Blue's one of our colors though, so people thought I was just showing school spirit.
