I'm sure that we have some somewhere. Most of the employees are off for the holiday so I've taken the liberty to install these tablet menus. *orders a water which comes out through the wall*
It's great, but I still feel that a nice waiter or waitress would liven the mood much more.

*takes a sip of water* Three is company and I'm not sure I can handle a lot of people right now. *Lays her head on the table with a sigh* I'm feeling rather empty and drained.

It's good to take a break from the rest of the world, once in a while *orders jasmine tea for himself*

The world never seems to give me a break though. It keeps demanding more and more, soon I'll have nothing left to give. I try to keep the smile, and I try to keep on giving. But right now I'm just a dry well that can't even promise a happy future. *Joins in the Yawn fest*

You can only promise yourself a happy future. The world can take nearly everything from you that you find tangible, but it can never take your spirit, so long as you know where it belongs.

I'm not sure where my spirit belongs though. I have not found that one niche, that one haven, that seems right for me. I feel like a single drop in a vast ocean, a drop that forgot to ripple and so has been informed they cannot exist. *Stares at water contemplativly*

@DFL We are all drops in the vast ocean, when you put it that way, my friend. We cannot exist, but we do. We wish to live for others (or for ourselves), but cannot help it when it hurts to do so. I understand your feeling, and sympathize well. Perhaps the only hope for us is to live to pay back what is owed, and then live on as we choose to, or try to decide how to.
