I just fought the boss at the amusement park, and wow that was exciting. Those seamless transitions into the hacking mini-game and all the different mechanics the fight throws at you. I can't even imagine what's still in store ahead. @__@

To be honest, i think she was the hardest boss ._. soo much jumping and dodging was needed x-x then there was the hacking mini game inturruptions.. =o= ugh 9S.. DO YOUR JOB! DON'T MAKE ME DO IT FOR YOU D:< fail sidekick!

I didn't think she was all that hard. D:

I love dodging though lol, and I have confirmed that, yes, you do get i-frames when you evade, you just have to time it right. It doesn't seem to work on those pink orb-bullets the machines shoot though? Or I'm just really bad at timing it. Probably that.

i found like 9 locked boxes when in my first hour of playing... i did not know how to open

Wow, that's more than I've found in like 4 hours now lol.

And DK, I play dodge builds on Dark Souls, so my evade game is pretty on-point. :P (And I love that you can configure Nier to have almost identical controls. ^__^)

I'm more of a keep attacking up close and keep slashing at the enemy type.. but with this game i'm more of a "POD! LAZER! Pod! BOMB ET! D:<" and keep my distance xD

By the way, how's the weapon variety? Are there a lot to choose from by endgame?

I found the spear by the sewers, and now I'm worried about how hidden some of them might be. D:

Melee, Spear, Light Sword, Heavy Sword

then there are the pod chips that lets you have many different attacks and defenses.

Oh, I meant more like how many in each category there are, and related to that, are the starting weapons as good as later ones if you upgrade them? /is noob

So I've made a horrible mistake, and died re-exploring that area where the white-haired boss was born, and there's a bunch of level 38 machines there now who slaughtered me, and keep slaughtering me every time I go to grab my body. >_<

I played NieR: Gestalt several times and felt it was entirely underrated. It remains my second favorite Square Enix game, and I have high hopes for this one, for sure.

I'm hoping they port Neir: Gestalt to the PS4. I'd like to play it. I tried watching Game Play videos but that bores me. o3o

Hahaha xD I did that too Sheol! I wanted to re-explore that place and then BOOM! i was all O-o wtf...? luckily my body was in a spot i could get to with out dying a second time.

I'd suggest to not go back >w>

Dead body 1: All the items
Dead Body 2: (if you didn't collect body 1, you get NOTHING BACK! D8) so on so forth

Not sure if you knew but you can go back to the starting area and reclaim your old gear

o3o you'd have to know about that seeing as they send you a mail about it >w>

If you take a look at what they did with Kingdom Hearts, it's certainly a possibility. Assuming NieR blows up as a franchise. I doubt Enix would remaster it if it wasn't a hit, but I'd buy it just for Kaine.
