Haha. It was actually a pretty horrible thing to do. The bible might not be my favorite book, but it's still a book and deserves a little more respect than we gave it. :P

Believe it or not, I don't actually mean to bash religion or offend anyone... I did mean to like seven years ago when I did that, but not anymore.

I try to take care of my books, but I don't mind if they start to wear after I've read them a few times... that's just natural. I don't leave them folded open or dogear them on purpose though.

That said, I don't really think that "abusing books" is really a terrible thing. The physical book itself isn't really special; it just rolled out of a factory somewhere. I've seen some pretty neat art projects done with old hardcovers and that doesn't bother me, though I know some people flip out if a book is physically taken apart and repurposed like that ^_^*

I always take care of my books.
