God...work was so....well...actually not bad tonight despite the woman who I assume was mildly intoxicated that came in, muttered to herself in line and, just as I was getting to her, threw $3 down on the belt and walked out with her soda before I could even ring it up.

I don't know, but she was seriously pissed about having to wait in line. But it's not like I was going that slowly even given the fact that I was on the only open check stand.

...which is one of the reasons I hate my job so much.
As much as I just LOVE to listen to people bitch me out when something rings up wrong as if it's MY fault even though I have nothing to do with the item pricing.
Or my all-time favorite, complain about how expensive things are in the store.
There are times when I really wish I could look at them and say "If the prices are so expensive, then don't shop here.". But that could probably get me a serious talking to, if not fired.
