I never actually went there while I lived in the area. Something about a restaurant with a Spanish name serving Asian food in Little Tokyo just struck me as silly.

But it's true that Daikokuya's lines are usually pretty crazy.

It's also a little weird to hear that Kula changed their branding to Kura since I left.

My mom's birthday was yesterday.
We got to get our favorite veggie burgers yesterday!!

And I brought my plushie rabbit (Her name is Cottontail) to the restaurant and mom was okay.
Mom usually gets really upset when I bring a plushie out in public because she feels it embarrasses her.

But yesterday, mom was okay with me bringing Cottontail and it felt nice because it felt like she was accepting me as I am for the first time in a long time!

On the topic of ramen;
There's this delicious ramen that Whole Foods sells. :) The noodles are fresh and the ... broth(?) is really tasty too! Not too salty or anything and no MSG.

The Kura in Laguna Hills Mall closed down, sadly. and we couldn't find the Kura in Little Tokyo until we were leaving, after we ate. >.>;;

I'm feeling pretty decent today!
The fireworks weren't that loud, but they were also not that frequent!
So I was okay with my headphones on and I got to hold my plush rabbit.

Mom and I also watched. some musicals. We finished The Greatest Showman.
