well you find several chocos of the sort you need, pick the best one, throw away the rest, fill again pick the best toss the rest and so forth until you cannot get a better choco, then you get the next sort to breed with untill you find another strong one you can only get the stats for two at a time at the very most without a debugger program, well you breed them, then you breed them and keep at it until you get the best offspring then you add the next choco and so forth

Oh... okay... Now I'm even more confused, though. Aren't the best wild chocobos found over by Icicle?

v.v yes and no, you need one of each type of choco to breed a gold, each choco of every type has different stats, like a pokemon

You get 2 chocobos of a certain quality, opposite genders. Race them to A or S class and breed them. Do the same with the offspring and continue. You need different nuts to get different colors/breeds of chocobos and blahblahblah.

However, if you are trying to increase their birth stats, color still has NOTHING to do with the outcome. You have to average the end stats of the chocobos you are breeding and that is close to the beginning stats of the baby chocobos. You can't just breed the same two chocobos and get higher stats, you have to breed their babies, and their babies, and their babies and so on just to get a 10 point increase at birth.

no but you can breed them until the best odds from the parents are given to the offspring

I bred as best I could up to the better colors and kept breeding them. I was trying to get MAX stats at birth, not just good stats so... yeah >_>;

i had chocos that i ran to s class and could do the long course without any feedings<3 those made me happy, fast with lost of stamina<3 granted i had one that could outrun them all that was dumb as a brick XD had to ride him manually

See I just feed the hell out of mine, raced them until they won like a bijillion times and then bred them.
