@Cho: That is the way credit works, why didn't you do it as a debit so it would go through your account at the same time? I once had a 20 dollar food bill come through my account two weeks later that was kinda devastating.

Could it have gone through as a credit? If the system doesn't ask for your pin that could happen too even if you ask for debit. I have had that happen before and it happens all the time at Michaels.

it is a cheap greasy convinence store that i went to because the one i go to was two miles away and i was being lazy, fucking bastards i kept them from getting robbed and they over-drafted me fifteen dollars *seethes*

i went inside and told them debit directly, the machine was broken

Then they probably did it as a credit. If they don't have your pin or you didn't put it in, the system can't know it is you and credit is based on a faith system. They probably ran your numbers when the system was back up and it took it 24 hours to go through your account.

What did your boyfriend do?

I would like to know if you could pull up my card statement/ receipt based on your system and tell me if it was ran through as a credit or debit, and if it was a debit why it was not instantly drafted from my account"
