So, a house full of collage students got banned on FR.. just for sharing IP address >-> FR didn't even ask any questions.. Nina and her fiance and their friends woke up and boom, banned =o=

nope. they don't request any kind of proof. that is until AFTER they've banned you.

they're trying to appeal it.

If he got an account, before he did, post in the help forums asking about it. be like -2 people i know on skype were banned along with their roommates just for sharing an IP address and my hubby wants to join and we don't want to be banned.-

show that you KNOW legit people who were banned and that your concerned. After he joins, make sure to add to your profile page bio thing "I share an IP Address with my Hubby (Username)



They don't ask people do 'let them know' but it seems those who DON'T do this tend to get banned. Their way of 'finding out who's cheating and who's not' SUCKS.

He wanted to but missed this registration. So now when the next registry is announced I'll just do as you said and cross my fingers!

I'd be kinda cool if they could do that for IP's but be like "please submit a photo of you and the first IP account holder holding your user names" or something

lol, but that is a good way to prove it, but what it was just a friend holding the sign up for you in the photo? That's still not really proof.

i thought of that too, but FR doesn't really have the right to ask for the REAL proof that banks do. It'd be 1 step better than not having any type of proof at all. >w>
