Yup. Shojo means that it is manga aimed at girls and has to do with romance, school, or magical girls and stuff like that.

I love me some magical girls. Have you seen Puella Magi Madoka Magica? Sometimes referred to as Madoka.
It is so beyond magical girl.

I checked out the plot to it on wiki when I was curious about the characters in this sponsor partner RIGged box on gaia that was about Madoka. I have not actually read it or watched the anime of it, though.

It's fantastic. I lurv it. Which is totally building it up to you. If you do get to watch it - you have to watch till the end of the third episode. No joke.
