We need moar plot....duuuude! Um what if chris here is like part demon or something? -has nothing to do with your post....but it would explain why he could see the wings-

if you'd like it to go that way but how would we call it? oh, i have a stupid idea, what if you can see them because you are my 'other' i read a story like that once, it could be something that develops slowly, does not take away from the mystery and gives you time to freak out

birds(chickens too) bond with the first thing they see, that is imprinting

It's obviously not the first thing they saw LOL

With werewolves....it's imprinting the mate thing...they see them and know (if they know what the imprinting thing is)
