Very nice! That's always an exciting part. I remember my dad and stepmom going for that visit for my brother....lots of anticipation involved and excitement, especially since it lets the parent(s) decide firmly on a name.

As I said, congrats. Hopefully it goes well and the doctor is able to get a good image so it's less of a guessing game/"where's waldo (or not)" and more definite right away. My little brother was fidgety and it took a few tries to find out he was...well, a he.

My great-grandmother's parents apparently decided at some point, "I don't care what the baby is...when it comes out, its name is Bryan!" :P

(I think it was great-grandmother...Maybe there's another level there. It was either my grandmother's mother, or her grandmother...not sure which.)

Wow.....that must have made for an interesting situation....especially when she was born. Did they follow through? If I'm being too nosy please tell me to stop....just curiosity getting the better of me right now.

I've known of parents doing that to both genders....naming them an uncommon name/name that is typically uesd for the other gender, Tiva's real name is like that.
