Yea, it sounds rough. Right after I moved to Missouri, the old cat I left with my ex's family died. He was 20 though (I think), really old for a cat, so I'm not that surprised, but it still hurt a lot knowing he died. Losing a pet is always hard especially when they have been with you a long time and been a good emotional support to you.

Yeah. I'm happy I was able to be with him. I was worried that something would happen while I was away and I wouldn't be able to be with him when the time came. My older sister would comment that Monty was essentially my little shadow that wandered after me everywhere. As he got older and had some arthritis issues I make ramps here and there so he could get on the couch or my bed. He was a fairly independant dog, not a cuddle bun but he would happen to be really close to me on occasion. ;)

Thanks guys. :). I'll miss him. I have a painting and photograph hanging here, which I find helps. He was cremated and I'm on the lookout for a nice cedar box for his ashes.

I remember when Tom Cat died. I was devistated. I came home from school to my so called boyfriend and my mom saying "Tom is dead. he's burried over here" I went to school the next day and cried to all my friends =(

The photo's I have of him help. The song that was playing on my mp3 player when i was told the bad news was the one pokemon song "the time has come" it was from the first season of the anime episode "Good Bye Pikachu" so that became our song =(

Ssshh don't tell it's a secret but I found a workaround for Uni being blocked on the work comp. If I clicky DK's tree thing it let me go there and log in and everything! Yay! It doesn't work it I google it or type into the address bar but this worked. *grin*
