We can have anime AND other styled items too. And anime isn't growing less popular, it's bullshit. Menewsha are just whining. It's not the same hype but they licence more manga today than they ever have.

To be very honest, you guys are assuming way too much over item requests. I highly doubt every special item or DI will be video game/anime based. I mean, just look at this month's DI item. In fact, right now, we don't have anything based off any game or movie or cartoon. Just because a site creates items from any sort of genre doesn't mean that site is dedicated to ONLY that genre. We're just starting off as far as items are concerned. There will be special items based on everything. Everyone will be happy, I assure you.

That's not what the staff said, that's what users said, and they are at least partially right.

I was also not saying I mind anime themed stuff, just that I wouldn't be very happy to see Trisphee turn all themed like that. better to speak now than when it's too late, me thinks.

Also, Yuki, the Anime Boon has died down a bit. I'm sorry, but anime really isn't as big and talked about as it used to be in 1999 and the early 2000s. Toonami is gone, hardly any network shows real anime unless you special order it off a ordered site like Ovation, and it's not being talked about as much. Pokemon cards are dead, Yu-Gi-Oh is getting there...

I'm not saying anime is becoming less-popular.. but the fame it used to carry has become quiet. If anything, in my opinion, western comics are coming back (Marvel, DC, etc).
