Actually, that could be considered a result of technology vs. art. With the photograph, and later advanced Computer Graphics, there was no need to depict realistic things anymore, and thus artists began experimenting more...and eventually it led to messing with the basics. The red dots/overlapping squares/etc. are a way of changing the fundamentals of viewed pictures... They reversed the value/intensity from the norm, messing with focal points, etc.
Others instead have tried to express things like brutality or the baseness of humanity by making what I'd term "cave drawings." Meanwhile, others have taken to using tools that were never associated with art.

And that is the value of modern/post-modern art.

I don't really like it as much, much like others, but I can somewhat understand it - its deconstructionist.

I don't really feel I have enough to actually pay for most things q-q

I have a really good job. I am grown up. Older. So I give myself a small allowance for purchasing from avi sites. This month it goes to Tris!

Age does not entail maturity, but acknowledged. I make about minimum wage for a part time janitorial job, so *shrugs*

Thank you so much Pink but alas I cannot afford your Anka set. I could buy it, but that is like $100 in RL money. So yeah, I don't have that to spend though I do have enough to get some runes and buy some other things. I will probably want a Feather folk, and a Woodland Archer and a Cholmus, but I need to know what you want for them since I go pretty much by the price guide.
