@Choco~ The issue that I have with security jobs is that the hours are unreliable. I might only work 1 hour a night just to fill in for someone else or 16 hours on short notice. It all comes down to hours. If I don't work at least over 80 hours a week I wont be able to sustain myself. I say that because I've done that. I have to factor in travel expenses, for I might not work at the same site each night and the mileage can go from 60 miles round trip to 300 round trip. Then theres the costs to maintain my permits. My firearm permit was revoked because I couldn't afford to maintain it which in turn caused my pay to take a hit. The only permit I have left is my guard card which allows me to work as a security guard and that's only 40$ every two years. Then theres the bullshit I have to put up with. My wisdom tooth is still cracked after I got attacked at work. No money to fix it > .<

Fuck it was being happy wasn't it.

You guys need a better company policy.. I mean, that is just silly not fixing your tooth if you got attacked at work.

We always need new people for our security at our work. People don't last as long as you would think they should there. Big theft issues at our place :/
