D:< I just got back from work! this whole week is busy for me @_@

My work is under staffed and there are hardly enough people to work there.
there are 7 people who worked there including myself.
Me, Nissy, Brenda, Rosa, Laura, Kristy and Kim.

The scheduled today was supposed to be Laura opening the kitchen and me closing the kitchen with over lap at lunch. Kim opening the from and Brenda closing it with over lap for lunch which is the busiest time.

Laura didn't show up so Rosa came in and Brenda showed up then walked out and we don't have Kristy's number and she is the only other person who knows the front and Nissy is on vacation and hardly ever works weekends anyways. So that left me Kim and Rosa alone and it was pretty busy today too I was running back and forth between the kitchen and the front pretty much just being Kim's little slave. Do this! Do that! DO this! Do that! Frick I wanted to just worked out! It was ridiculous!

Then even when things slowed down my brain was all scrambled and I kept making stupid mistakes! It was just a bad day!

Awww. I'm sorry. You shoulda got for all their work XP

Reminds me of the time I was working and I was the only one there the whole day, but at least it wasn't busy on account of the blizzard.

I feel for you Feyth. I actually started having the odd ounce or two of coffee work got so over run. I hae a customer tap me on the back of the head with a product she wanted to ask about while I was trying to see to another customer.

I used to work in fast food with a cheap boss who always tried to get away with as little staff as possible. This did mean that I was once stuck manning front counter, food prep, and drive through at the same time since the other employee was taking her sweet time with her break with the supervisor out of the building, never mind the rules around breaks when there are only two people.

The understaffing thing just doesn't make sense. Well, I mean, it sort of does because less hours = more profits, but eventually the effect is far too negative to be worth it.

it sucks that the world is full of so many crappy bosses
