Edit: If you let the devs know what was going on, including what you can remember about the pop-ups, they will probably look into what is causing that.

This WAS the Steam installer. And the devs know about it; I'm not the only one with this complaint and it's been around for years. I really don't know what to think about it.

That's weird, I don't ever it doing that to me. Maybe just install directly from the warframe site then? Its also a smaller download than from steam, steam is only good if you want to track the achievements in the steam launcher. ^^;
