I think we're probably quite a bit alike in that aspect. I always have such grand ideas but then..they just never pan out. But! I never stop trying.

I saw them! On the front page...they really are very pretty. :) I still admire the pieces you have done very much and like I said, I feel inspired.

Have you seen the site Urban Threads? I got a kit from that site a long time ago but I never used it. I don't even know where it went, lol. They have free stuff on there I believe tho.

There's also craftster.org which is a neat forum for crafty folks. I dunno why I never popped in here but I plan to from now on! Maybe it will help me feel inspired.

I also have grand ideas. Something I am currently trying to work on. I want to do a few things but I just don't have the initiative to do any of them. It's hard to get back to normal when you are used to being so careful of not getting dirty because of my OCD. I really let that thing take over my life.

I'm trying to work on different biscornus to work myself up to making a 15 sided one and blackwork ones. Blackwork is just all backstitching a design on fabric. Here is a link to see what some of it looks like.

For me I usually work on a simple biscornu. Like just one color throughout the whole thing and it's a small easy design. For you, I'm not sure. I guess it depends on what you view as simple. You could do a small piece. Like a small oranament or small animal or like a heart. I've done that a couple times and it was nice. Cute lil piece and fun to do. I found a few easy patterns here. I did a irish flag for a simple piece on day and it was alot of fun. It says in irish on the bottom, 'Beautiful Ireland'.

I don't mind all the questions ^_^ You're not bothering me.

I downloaded the pattern and followed it on my own by non stop counting. I never used a pattern that was already on my canvas. I learned how to follow them by finding the center on the fabric and going from there.

Aww...well, here in Wisconsin it's still too cold for me to put my plants back outside but they did survive another winter. :) I'm originally from Florida and when my grandmother visits she brings me plants from her yard. I guess the green thumb runs in our family. She taught floral design all her life and my mother, before she died, ran a flower shop.
