Do you own an extra pair of shoes? Let me ask- If you saw a homeless person in need of shoes, and you knew you were going home to an extra pair, and yours just might fit, would you walk home without shoes to make sure they would not go without again? No, you'd give them a dollar maybe.

When you walk past a homeless man on the way to McDonald's cause you feel like eating out, do you often buy him lunch, too?

I think everyone should just be homeless for 2 weeks. I would love to see that. I was for months, and you know what?

I buy that homeless man lunch all the friggin time.

If your neighbor's door was busted, and you could fix it or knew someone that could, would they have to mention it before you called?

If you get more change back than you should have, do you say anything? If a kid kicks a rubber ball ito your yard, do you take it to them, or make them come get it?

When a new person moves in, do you say hello, go back to your house? Or do you maybe invite them to come eat with you sometime?

If you'll all permit me to get back to the original topic, the issue is always going to be that Runes cost actual money. Add that to the fact that anyone who likes the site enough to donate is likely a frequent poster, and the prospect of selling Runes for Aurumn isn't all the appealing, given how easy Aurumn is to obtain. Meaning that it's more or less a gift to the community, and one that requires both a generous person and that person having the financial means to do so.

Once I manage to get some money together, I fully intend to start donating regularly and selling/donating all the Runes I get from that. But, I'm at least in a position where I can do that. A lot of people either can't donate, since they're too young, or can't afford to, which has the doubled effect of both making Runes extremely rare and hurting the site monetarily. Conversely, anyone who donates is both helping the site stay afloat and helping the community, if they distribute their Runes rather than hoard them.

And then you get back to the greed issue....

I don't view people who hoard runes greedy. XD. They paid money for them, let them have runes just like someone saying: "Let them eat cake."

I seem to have gotten the runes I have wanted, so I am through for right now.
