Its the sequal to another book(forget its name) but its about alchemist mainly and a type of fae called wood elves haha

I know this is off topics, but are fae like....grouped together elves?

In what I believe, elves are a form of fae. there's lots of different types of fae. The most common are the sidhe (pronounced shee) which are the beautiful ethereal beings most people depict them as (but no wings). There's many types of sidhe. Like for example winter sidhe and summer sidhe and one you might know of the bean sidhe (pronounced banshee)
but fae are also beings like redcaps, goblins, kelpies(shapeshifters most common form is a water horse), boggarts, piskies(pixies- evil little things they are >>), brownies, dwarfs, mermaids, phooka, trolls and so many more.
And no im not wicca, that religion believes fae to be something else than I do
no I do not think they are real, im just a fanatic. I LOVE learning about them and such. Ask gallagher x'D

But like I said, this is my belief of what defines a fae, others think elves are an entire different race. I mainly stick to the origins and Irish/Gaelic backgrounds ^^

I haven't been reading many Fae books lately.. I need to get the second in the Holly Black one.. I was hoping to snag a copy cheap in one of the charity shops.

I know lots of fake wiccans in real life.

But I disagree strongly with the wiccans definition of faerie (or at least what ive been told by a few of my real wiccan friends) they think faeries are good creatures who clean their house and do nice things. Pffffffftttt faeries are evil. :/ there is no 'good fae' just some are a tad nicer than the other.

I have never heard of faeries cleaning houses.. than again..

I don't remember faeries at all being involved with Wicca.. they deal with the Goddesses and nature..

The fake wiccas think that fae do nice things. That they can have fae blood, vampire blood ect e.e its stupid.

And you know the real wicca. I only know a few real wiccans but mostly lots of fakes.. but hey whatever floats a persons boat.

I have always had interest in Wicca.. I might not openly practice it but it's one of the few beliefs I don't have issues with..

Vampire blood? -scratches head- That more sounds like people who think Wiccans are just goths or emos and don't take the time to sit down and actually read about it.

I actually thought about getting some candles to burn.. I would need to read up on Wicca again.. the book I had.. haven't seen it ages, I remember having to put it by cause I got it shortly before my friend had his seizure and he told his mom that I was practicing what he called witchcraft which got her going at me.. kind of stopped me.. now I have the urge to read it again and it's in the States. XD

Yeah like I said. I know some really really stupid people. u.u they only say they are wicca because they think its 'cool' //sigh

Yeah its really hard to keep up with apparently. You have to do things at certain times ect.
