What's the point of mental health if your physical is in disarray.

I counter with: what's the point of being in prime condition physically if all you want to do is curl up somewhere and disappear?

Because to have a mental state one requires a physical being on the Earth. One cannot exist without the other, though mental cannot at all exist with out a physical, while physical is the variable always required. Mental does not have to be there.
