Dear Batty:
Toning up will actually lead to losing weight. Also, try not to suddenly eat more calories, do so slowly and gradually. Continue with the exercises, only for 15 minutes a day, everyday, AND THAT'S IT, okies? =]
Your metabolism has nothing to do with it.
What's important is that you love yourself by keeping it fit and healthy =D
