My dad was driving me to my therapy appointment last week... A fire broke out on the street we take early that morning...

When we drove on that street, the entire mountainside was completely charred. It was black and dusty and the trees were burnt to a crisp. And it was still smokey as we drove through the mountains.

It was a really scary thing to see! It felt like I was in a post-apocalyptic RP game or something!

yeah, and yet so many people in power try to explain there is no problem, we are totally fine. fucking puds the lot of 'em

It's really annoying when they're like, "Oh. It's cold today. Where's global warming?"

BITCH. Did you NOT take into account the other 20-ish days of the month when it was like 100s IN GODDAMN NOVEMBER!!!

ONE day of cold doesn't erase months and months of scorching heat!!

also with all the ice melting of course there will be brief cold periods especially during heckin' cold times.

It's super obvious that something is going wrong with the planet.
It's really obvious right now that if we keep ignoring the signs... Well... the earth will either implode on itself or the human race will wipe itself out.

And it's really frustrating when some people think that they can keep going on with throwing away plastic and pouring chemicals into their sinks and their bathrooms without consequences...
Sure, the world may not feel the abuse *now*, but I would want to preserve the earth for my children and future generations.

The thought of the world ending... possibly in my lifetime is scary

It should be colder than this in November.

well, to be fair the earth is going to be fine. it's all the things breathing on it that are boned

When I come here to visit in 2011, it was November and it was cold.
Not nearly as cold as Minnesota, of course. But it was colder than it's been here.

Like, sweater weather, you know?

But I came back here to visit in 2016. Same day as back in 2011, and it was really really hot. Like, I packed sweaters and leggings and jackets... And it was like 90+ degrees the whole time.

People were asking me where I was from because they saw me walking around with a sweater and boots and I guess they thought I was from someplace really warm. Lol

It's really scary that we're in November now and it's still 90s somedays...

I threw the biggest temper tantrum of my life on Halloween this year

yeah, i stole all of the blue gummy sweets from the bowl

Oooh. I can't eat many gummies anymore because they have gelatin and I'm vegetarian.

Honestly, it was really really stupid.
I don't know why, but I was just really emotional on Halloween. I was wearing cat ears and had cat makeup... We parked in the garage and I took off my sweater and attempted to take a picture of my "costume"... But I realized that my cat ears fell off...
At first, I assumed they fell in the car, so I scrounged all around the car and could not find them...

I had a massive temper tantrum because I knew that Mom likely noticed my ears fell and brought them upstairs to our apartment. She took the car keys with her but was planning to come back to the car. We just stopped at home to pick something up and then we'd keep going. I'm usually not very emotional like that, but I literally like fell to the floor and was crying and kicking the car...

And mom came back and was like, "Seriously, Ava??? Crying over some cat ears?"


It was stupid and I feel really dumb for even doing that c:
I'm sure some other people in the garage probably heard me too...

I've been very overly stressed last month leaking into this month.
At the same time, I have made so many new friends who are very kind and funny and have been building me up.

Event though I've been going through hard times, I find that I've been the most relaxed and this is the most I've laughed in a long time.

i wonder if it would help you to have a frank conversation with someone that will listen without judging you or having a preestablished history with you and yours
