that's nice to hear... schools here in my country hire students to become student assistants but they don't get paid... they just get tuition fee discounts... and guess what? it's only for those who don't have much in life... they would still investigate your family's background financially before they would even hire you...

aww. it's nice that they have a program like that, but it would definitely be better to make it more open to everyone. college is expensive for everyone, even if you are decently well off financially. >.<

yeah...but the jobs you can get straight out of high school suck and I wouldn't be happy with it in the long run. some people do prefer it though.
