Yeah more than he needs to at times. He gets paid for national guard and 'managing' the public advertising pages for his mom's business. At the beginning of the year I have more but after Christmas he normally picks up on buying things.
*sighs* Too many family members to buy for at Christmas..... *Spends over 300 dollars at christmas* 7 20 dollar gifts for nieces nephews and my siblings then the rest gets split between my mum, stepdad, two best friends and Chris.
It is more because the 5 kids I have to buy for, all under 13, and that my sister's get mad if I don't because my mum won't put my name of their gift to them.
I wish we had a raffle, but the adult to child ratio doesn't work out well. Nor does the spending ratio. My mum and stepdad can afford to spend a lot, as can my middle sister because her husband is an E6 (Ithink) and they have a lot of money saved. My Oldest sister and her husband don't... they normally end up having to borrow money from my parents when they come up from Fort Polk because they bought things before the economy busted and all of their buys went bad (Reverse mortgage on two cars and their house went down by a lot).
It is a lot to spend on my family, and I wish they didn't put the pressure on me but I have gotten use to it. I budget it out to where I have it saved and keep to the budget but it still is sad to look at it after December.
I can imagine there are like no kids in my family =/ mainly due to my extended family is all in the south so i really only have about 2-3 people to buy for with the raffle
*scratches head and wanders in* Well, today was an early day for me, I just kinda forgot to get on Tris after my workout. And you and me both Cazz, I'll be lucky to get one of each item.....
So, how have you been?
I'm only a man with a candle to guide me
I'm taking a stand to escape what's inside me
