I don't even know what you mean, the method I described, at least for the basic straps, will leave no threads/edges exposed. the ruffels will have to be hemmed before or after being attached, so those might have some bits left...but beyond that...yeah....

I cna do them by hand easily...allllllll my machines hate me and won't cooperate

My mom can sew but she doesn't want to teach me how

O.o why doesn't she want to teach you? I couldn't learn from my mother(personality issues which is hilarious since my mother IS a teacher), but I learned from friends.

I just like watchjing people it brings me joy.

Well she the type that likes to do things herself, and me making mistakes and asks questions only stresses her out so all in all she'd rather just make it instead of teaching me how to do it.
