There's still all the vitamins and whatnot they give to the birds while they're being raised. Some of that still transfers to you when you eat the meat.

True facts, but, I'd LIKE to think I still get those vitamins. xD; [I probably don't, but, still]

I really don't like red meat at all, but because I'm anemic, I need the iron. And I can't get all I need from the vitamin supplement.

Try spinach. Green leafy veggies have lots of iron in them.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE SPINACH. And Collard Greens.

My grandma makes AMAZING fried greens! I think she uses mustard greens, though. I can't remember. I love cheesy spinach quiche!

I need to start eating healthier.

*avoids veggies like the plague* ....the texture of most get to me. >.< And the plant-y aftertaste. I've been trying to get into eating them, though, but it's been an uphill battle. *ish a dairy-grainitarian with a side of meat*

I'm more of a meatatarian myself. I do like quite a few veggies just don't eat them.

I eat far too little, and far too healthy. xD;
