I have a feeling Dark and Muse's walls are going to be bombarded. She will be missed, I liked having someone to talk about search and rescue teams.

They probably will....it is going to be a difficult few days.

I've never actually lost someone close to me.

I've lost a few relatives, and this is actually the first time it has been someone outside my family.

I lost my grandmother that everyone says I looked like, but I wasn't close to her. She lived in Puerto Rico, and I live in the States.

I've lost my grandmother as well, and my great-great grandmother as well (who I had the great fortune of knowing).

Nope. My parents didn't want to live in Puerto Rico, so they moved here when they got married. They never looked back. I've met them, my grandparents - on both sides but not that much.

Well, some people want to move on and never look back, and I don't blame them. And better than nothing at least, eh?

When I spent time in PR, - I wondered how people were raised in such a manner. I can't even begin to talk about the horrid stuff I saw. I don't like to go there. At least where my grandparents live.

Different culture? I know it is pretty different.

They were flushing kittens down a septic pipe. (My grandparents neighbors at at the time.) I WISH I was kidding. I'm puertorican and I just - cringe - at the thought of going there.

You know Tiva, I'm an anthropologist - I can understand quite a bit but torture of those week than yourself, I don't tolerate.

I'm not trying to yell at you... I'm just trying to get you not to visit there so I don't have to be embarrassed by my own people.
