It's hard to wait!

I got to eat mochi for the first time today.

oooh, which flavor? And how was it??

Mooooochi! I haven't had it in a while.

when I have the chance, and the money for it, I'mma get some red bean mochi.

Ooooo, red bean paste is some really good stuff. I always really enjoyed the red bean steamed dumplings, though I also haven't had those in years ...

For some reason, when I get the red bean buns from Whole Foods, I always seem to need water or something else to drink with 'em.

I used to hate red bean stuff for the longest time. No idea why.

...and then I found those red bean and jelly popsicle bars.

I love azuki beans!! There used to be here a dessert that was strawberry covered with red bean paste + mochi and it was amazing. But now I have to travel to get it.

lol...no one is asking the other important nosey question...was it mochi or mochi ice cream? :P

It was a strawberry ice cream mochi. Little and nice. And it had a big spoonful of unmushed sweet red beans as a side. Both were SO tasty. I think it was the best dessert I've had.

...I suddenly crave Asian desserts.
